Twenty-Second Tonic Ball event to benefit Second Helpings

Tonic Ball, presented by Eskenazi Health, returns to Fountain Square on Friday, November 17, 2023. This sold-out event is an annual, one-night-only music festival that fights hunger through Second Helpings, a local nonprofit organization with a mission to address hunger today and build self-sufficiency to prevent hunger tomorrow.

Each year this event celebrates the music of four icons, with local musicians covering those artists at music venues. This year, The Police will be featured at Radio Radio; Sly and the Family Stone at Square Cat Vinyl; Rihanna at the Hi-Fi; and Jay-Z at White Rabbit Cabaret. Greatest hits of all four icons will be performed at the Fountain Square Theatre.

Now in its twenty-second year, Tonic Ball attracts 2,800 guests to sold-out shows each year. Since 2010, the event has raised more than $1.5 million to fight food insecurity in central Indiana with Second Helpings.

###

Second Helpings fights hunger in Central Indiana from every angle. We rescue food that would otherwise be thrown away, prepare it, deliver it to local nonprofits for free, and train people for careers in the culinary industry. We deliver more than a million meals every year—many of them to kids and seniors. For more information, visit secondhelpings.org.
